Nestled in the heart of California's Central Coast, Little King is a family owned cafe that aims to source, bake, and build drinks with the same intention as the best fine dining restaurants, and then to present that product with joy.
Founders Ryan and Grace met in 2015 while working on the opening team of Emmer & Rye in Austin, Texas. Over the next decade, they built their careers together in acclaimed fine dining establishments across Texas and California. Amid late nights in the restaurant world, they discovered a shared love for coffee. In 2021, they relocated to California, where Ryan became General Manager at the Michelin-starred Bell’s in Los Alamos, and Grace led the opening of Bar Le Côte in Los Olivos.
Following the birth of their son, “THE Little King", the couple opened their café, which quickly expanded to a second location. Guided by the belief that exceptional service shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions, Little King brings thoughtful hospitality and everyday elegance to each of its welcoming spaces.
